  • So why trashcat?

    TRASHCAT is not only my iconic brand ambassador - trash cats refer to community cats that may often be seen hanging around, well, trash. Even though these cats have had a hard life, they still deserve love and respect. Working with local shelters in TNVR (Trap, Neuter/Spay, Vaccinate, Return) programs and seeing their resiliency is what helped inspire the TRASHCAT namesake!

  • what programs do you use for your projects?

    All of my digital art is done in Procreate, using my iPad and Apple Pencil. Occasionally Photoshop will be used for rendering/additional design elements such as text.

  • what are your prices for commissions?

    I price all commissions on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me with the details of your project so we can come up with a comprehensive package to suit your needs, budget, and timeline.

  • How do you accept payment?

    I will accept payment through Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal.

    Once a price has been agreed upon, I will send you a payment request or invoice through the agreed payment platform. Once payment is confirmed, you will be added to the queue and I will begin working on your project during the agreed completion timeline.

  • What kind of projects will you accept?

    I specialize in stylized work for the music, entertainment and fashion industries, but currently accept most design projects. I will NOT accept work for:

    • Extreme violence / gore

    • NSFW content featuring minors or animals

    Any NSFW I will only do for ages 18+. Proof of age will be required. NO EXCEPTIONS.

    In any capacity, I reserve the right to accept or refuse projects at my discretion.

  • How Long will it be before my project is complete?

    Timelines will be discussed with clients and finalized based on my capacity and client needs. A detailed calendar with deadlines will be provided for each project.

    To give you an idea, once the agreement payment is received by TRASHCAT Studios, the process will be:

    • Sketch phase - I will sketch out your design request so any changes can be made and agreed upon before final inking/colors.

    • Inking Phase - Once the sketch phase is approved, I will do the linework/inking. At this phase, I will only accept minor design changes. Major revisions will be subject to additional fees.

    • Lastly, if you request a color project, I will add the flat colors, shadows, and highlights. I will only accept color changes during this phase.

    • Once the project is complete, I will send the agreed file formats to the email address of your choice.

    Please note that for all work completed, I reserve the right to add your project to my online portfolio. This helps showcase my work so other potential clients have insight on my style and process.

  • What is your refund / cancellation policy?

    At any time, if a cancellation is needed on my end, I will inform the client as soon as possible and return all funds to the original form of payment.

    I will only provide full refunds for client cancellations during the sketch phase. If cancellation is requested after the inking phase, I will provide an 80% refund. Beyond this stage, I will not be providing a refund for cancellations.

    It is the client’s responsibility to be informed of this policy. This policy is to account for lost time and labor, and allow others the opportunity to request work from me when my capacity becomes available. Any chargebacks filed against TRASHCAT Studios due to non-compliance with my policies will result in a permanent ban from requesting commissions in the future.

  • your commission status is closed. when will you reopen?

    I regularly update my commission status based on my current capacity so that each and every client can receive the best possible outcome for their project. Even if my status for commissions is closed, you can still contact me with your inquiry- but please understand if I am unable to accommodate your request or cannot work with you immediately.

  • Where can I purchase your products?

    You can purchase TRASHCAT branded products HERE on our website. We will occasionally participate in local pop-ups and events as well if you want to snag some goodies in person. Please check our UPCOMING EVENTS page for a list of local showcases!

  • Do you offer returns on TrashCat merch?

    Due to the limited nature of my products, I am unable to accommodate returns at this time. I will exchange merchandise only if you do not receive the item you ordered. Please email meow@trashcatchicago.com if you have any additional questions.
