Hexxus is a malevolent spirit of destruction and pollution, and his sole desire is to destroy FernGully and spread absolute destruction across the world. His first manifestation was a formless blob of crawling petrol, but when he discovers humans and their machinery, he absorbs energy, drinks more petrol, grows, and decides to make a mockery of them by assuming the form of a seductive humanoid creature.
